Solar Bonus Scheme

The Queensland Solar Bonus Scheme, which involves a government mandated solar feed-in tariff, pays eligible customers for the surplus electricity generated from solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and exported to the Queensland electricity grid.

As part of the Queensland Government’s electricity reform agenda, the Solar Bonus Scheme will change from 30 June 2014. The changes will ensure new feed-in tariffs do not increase the cost of electricity for customers.

This guide provides information about the feed-in tariffs under the Solar Bonus Scheme.
